How to get a profile

You get eligible for a Linkr Profile when you are level 3 on Linkr Levels, when you reach that you can run the command /profile request and we'll take a look and likely grant it, once granted you'll have a linkr profile.

How to update a profile

There are 2 commands that are used to customize your linkr profile /profile update and /profile change.

For /profile update

This command has 4 different aspects

Bio

This will change your Bio, it has a maximum of 370 characters and can contain markdown, this is where you can tell the world about your self.

You can include emails, but you may NOT put any websites.

Pronouns

This is where you can place your preferred pronouns, it has a maximum of 40 characters, if you have a legitimate and real need for a extended pronoun placement there, you may create a support post with the "Profiles" tag with the request of your set pronouns with a maximum for 90 characters, we do expect that 40 should be enough for most people.

Color

This sets the embed color that appears on your profile by defualt its #46c255 which we think is a pretty nice shade of green ;)

Website

This is the website that appears on your profile, leave any website here ya want, it could be for your cool discord bot, your discord server, your project website, a personal website, or for whatever reason you want to put https://google.com you can, not sure why, but we wont stop you.

For /profile change

These are for things that require manual approval so after submitting it can take up to 48hrs to reviewed although typically we can approve it within 12hrs

This command has 2 different aspects

Linkr Name

This is the essential aspect, not only does it appear on your profile but when you send messages in Linkr your username shows up as your Linkr Name.

Please note that a profile must follow these rules (in addition to our TOS, that applies to all of our features):

No Emojis

Must use characters found on a typical Qwerty keyboard

Cannot Contain: [ ] | { }

30 Characters or less

Vanity 

Typically, when you want to find someone's profile you need to use their UserID, however those with vanities can be found via the keyword they set as their vanity, this setting ofc sets your vanity

How to View a profile

You can view a profile with /profile view

In the "query" option you can either use a UserID or if the user has a vanity you can use that, for example if you want to view the Owner/Developer's profile you can either user their UserID (859925195598331935) or their Vanity (dev).

Feature eligibility

Not every aspect of profiles can be used right out of the box, some of them need to be earned

Linkr Names: You must be level 5+ on Linkr Leveling
Color: You must be level 15+ on Linkr Leveling
Website: You must be level 30+ on Linkr Leveling

Vanity: You must be level 50+ on Linkr Leveling.
